Strengthening of international contacts and positive experience in foreign specialists training allow the Institute keep the status of CIS-countries basic organization on training in the field of emergency prevention and response according to the decision of CIS-countries Heads Council of May 25, 2007.

Since 2003, more than 6 500 foreign specialists have been trained at the IRTcentre. They were from 71 states, namely: Algeria, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bangladesh, Benin, Bhutan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Canada, China, Colombia, Congo, Costa Rica, Cote d'Ivoire, Cuba, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Estonia, France, Germany, Georgia, Ghana, Honduras, Hungary, Jordan, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Libya, Lithuania, Mali, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Mongolia, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Peru, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Spain, Sudan, Tajikistan, Togo, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, UAE, Ukraine, USA, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Zimbabwe.
