From 04 to 08 October 2021, the fifth group of the Public Security Directorate of Jordan Civil Defense of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan completed a refresher course in "Management of fire and rescue incidents".
12 Jordan civil protection officers practically worked out rescuers' work in conditions of high temperatures and an environment unsuitable for breathing; fire extinguishing at oil and gas storage facilities; conducting rescue operations in an earthquake zone, and rescue operations on transport on the operational and tactical training area.
The training included field exercises at the "ZUBR" Republican special-purpose unit and the State Aviation Rescue Institution "AVIATION" of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Belarus.
The Jordan specialists visited a Republican Educational Centre of Life Safety of the Ministry for Emergency Situations and the Belarus State Museum of the history of the Great Patriotic War. The IRTcentre also arranged sightseeing tours to Minsk and Borisov, a tour to the places of the Patriotic War of 1812.
A total of 606 representatives of Jordan have been trained at the IRTcentre since 2010.
