From 29 November to 03 December 2021, nine Jordan emergency responders passed training on “Rescue and firefighting operations on aircraft and civil aviation facilities (in accordance with Standards and Recommendations of International Civil Aviation Organization)”.

The trainees worked out skills on rescue actions during aircraft emergencies: safe evacuation of crew and passengers, first aid to casualties, fire-fighting, and work in an environment unsuitable for breathing.

During the training, the trainees attended field exercises at the Minsk National Airport and the State Aviation Rescue Institution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus. At the training grounds, they practically worked out aircraft rescue operations, technologies of rescue operations, etc. The cultural program comprised an excursion to the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War; as well as sightseeing tours around Minsk and Borisov.

A total of 727 Jordan officers have been trained at the IRTcentre since 2010.
