The International Rescuer-firefighters Training Centre (IRT Centre) provides comprehensive personnel training in civil protection, chemical and radiation safety, fire and technosphere security, as well as the prevention and mitigation of natural and man-made emergencies.
Since 2003, the IRTcentre has successfully delivered practice-oriented, short-term training programs for international professionals. To date, more than 7,800 experts from 83 countries have completed a wide range of training and professional development courses, including live-field exercises.
The IRTcentre is committed to fostering global cooperation and the exchange of best practices in emergency response and risk management.
