Professional Development Faculty is a department of the State educational establishment ‘Institute for Retraining and Professional Development’ of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, the organization conducting the educational process in Professional Development system:
- basic training courses of the emergency bodies and subdivisions;
- targeted courses of the emergency bodies and subdivisions;
- professional development of the functionaries of other ministries and departments of the Republic of Belarus in the field of fire and industrial safety.
The main tasks of the Faculty of professional development:
- meet the needs of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, republican and local executive and administrative bodies and other organizations in highly professional staff to ensure effective social and economic development, its national safety, as well as individual needs of citizens to increase their level of training in accordance with the legislation, including on a fee basis, and representatives of foreign rescue services;
- organization and implementation of the educational process and educational work;
- creating the necessary conditions for students;
- participation in the creation of modern training and material facilities;
- implementation of measures to achieve the goals and Policies in the field of quality.
The faculty consists of the head of the faculty, the head of the course, methodologist and the superintendent.
