On December 11, 2024, a delegation from the administration of Mutare City, Zimbabwe, led by Mayor Simon Chabuka, visited the IRTcenter during their trip to the Republic of Belarus.
The guests were accompanied by representatives of the AFTRADE DMCC, Anatoly Gaikovitch and Natalia Gulych. Andrey Koruskevich, Deputy Head of the IRTcenter, gave an overview of the material, technical and educational resources, as well as the laboratory facilities and academic and related services provided by the IRTcenter.
During the excursion, firefighting equipment and Belarusian-made machinery were demonstrated.
In the course of the visit, opportunities for cooperation were discussed regarding the training of the Zimbabwe Fire Department personnel in civil protection and fire safety using Belarusian fire-fighting vehicles at the IRTcenter.
