From December 17 to December 23, 2023 five Tajiktransgaz representatives from the Republic of Tajikistan received advanced training in the #IRTcenter on "Management of forces and means in emergency response on main and distribution gas pipelines".
The rescuers from Tajikistan engaged in hands-on practice of putting out gas pipeline fires at the IRTcentre operational and tactical training ground. They learned about the unique challenges of putting out flames in gassy and hot settings, simulating real-world scenarios as closely as possible. Field training sessions were arranged for the trainees at the Republican Special Purpose Unit Zubr, the Republican Center for Emergency Management and Response of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, and the Krupskoye Gas Pipeline Department of Gazprom Transgaz Belarus. The guests from Tajikistan were introduced to Minsk's sites as part of the cultural program, and they also paid a visit to the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War.
