On February 23 to March 6, 2020, 10 representatives of Azerbaijan Airlines Hava Yollary passed qualification upgrading training on the program ”Rescue and firefighting operations on aircrafts and civil aviation facilities (in accordance with standards and recommendations of International Civil Aviation Organization)”.
At the training ground the trainees practically worked out the following questions: rescue operations and the use of on-board rescue equipment on aircrafts; emergency medical assistance for the victims of emergency situations; rescue and firefighting operations on vertical steel tanks for storing oil and oil products; fire-extinguishing at airport building; safe fire extinguishing inside the fuselage of the aircraft, engine and landing gears with fuel flowing out in case of aviation event and others. During the training the field classes were organized at the RUE National Airport Minsk ICAO Aviation Training Centre. Within the framework of the cultural program the trainees visited the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, the excursion to the museum of miniatures “Country Mini” Museum and made sightseeing tours in Minsk.
