From August 22 to September 02, 2022, specialists of "Association of Airports of Georgia" LLC attended professional development training on the search, rescue and fire-fighting Support of Flights at the IRTcentre.
During two weeks, the following questions were practically worked out: on-board emergency rescue equipment of the aircraft and the methods of its application; organization and tactics of extinguishing fires inside the fuselage of aircraft; technology for the use of emergency rescue tools and equipment during emergency rescue operations on aircraft;by the way, special attention was paid to the organization and tactics of extinguishing fires of spilled jet fuel and aircraft landing bodies, as well as extinguishing fires and conducting emergency rescue operations in tank farms for storing flammable and combustible liquids.The questions were figured out at the IRTcentre operational-tactical training ground.
In addition, the trainees attended field classes at the National Airport "Minsk", the State Aviation Emergency Rescue Institution "Aviation", as well as the Educational Center for Life Safety of the Ministry for Emergency Situations.
At “Pozhsnab” LLC, the trainees were shown the possibilities of Belarus in the production of fire rescue equipment.Specialists of the “United Vehicle Robotics” company demonstrated to the trainees the capabilities of a multi-purpose autonomous aircraft Belarusian production.
As a cultural program, the following were organized: an excursion to the Belarus State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War; a sightseeing tour of Minsk; an excursion to historical sites of the Patriotic War of 1812; a sightseeing tour of Borisov; an excursion to the National Library of Belarus.
