From 27 September to 01 October 2021, the fourth group of the General Directorate of Civil Protection of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan completed the refresher course on "Managing Rescue and Firefighting Operations in Emergency Situations".
On the IRTcentre operational-tactical training ground 12 Jordanian officers worked out their practical skills in an environment unsuitable for breathing, in high temperatures and limited visibility; extinguishing of fires at oil and gas storage facilities; conducting rescue works in earthquake areas; rescue actions on transport.
The specialists from Jordan had field exercises at the "ZUBR" Republican special-purpose unit and the State Aviation Rescue Institution "AVIATION" of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Belarus.
During the training, a varied cultural program was organized for the trainees: a tour to the places of the Patriotic War of 1812, a visit to the Republican Educational Safety Centre of the Ministry for Emergency Situations, the museum of BELAZ, and the sightseeing tours of Minsk and Borisov.
Since 2010, a total of 594 Jordanian representatives have been trained at the IRTcentre.
