On February 3-5, 2020 seven representatives of the Liepaja international airport LLC (Latvia) passed training on the program “Pressure-fed fuel fire drills. Human performance including team coordination (for airports of category 7)” at the IRTcentre.
At the training ground the trainees practically worked out the following questions: evacuation of passengers and crew members from the aircraft, safe fire extinguishing of the aircraft power plant with fuel flowing out under pressure, work in breathing apparatus in heat chamber, common international distress signals and others. The IRTcentre organized the meeting between the head of the group and the director of the RUE National Airport Minsk ICAO Aviation Security Training Centre.
