From 03 to 17 June 2024, seven representatives from aviation organizations of the Republic of Uzbekistan attended a training course at the IRTcenter. The course focused on professional development in search, rescue, and fire protection for flights.
During the training, the participants from Uzbekistan explored the design of aircraft, as well as the ways, methods, and means of emergency evacuation from aircraft. They also received medical training and learned to provide psychological support in crisis situations.
At the IRTcenter’s operational and practical training grounds, the trainees practiced measures to ensure aviation search and rescue operations at airports and civil aviation facilities. Practical training was also conducted at Minsk National Airport, the ZUBR Republican Special Forces Unit, and the Regional Republican Emergency Management and Response Center in Borisov.
As part of the cultural program, the guests from Uzbekistan had the opportunity to explore the sights of Minsk and Borisov. Excursions were organized to the Firefighting Museum, the Educational Center for Life Safety of the Ministry for Emergency Situations, the Stalin’s Line Historical and Cultural Complex, the Miniature Museum “Mini Country,” and the Belarusian State Museum of Architecture and Daily Life.
During the cultural program, the guests not only learned about the traditions of the Belarusian people but also enjoyed traditional Belarusian cuisine, tasting various dishes.
