From June 17 to July 03, 2024, 21 representatives from civil protection units in the Republic of Zimbabwe participated in a training course "Training of officials carrying out emergency rescue operations, training of operators of fire and rescue equipment (expert level)".
The training was organized by Bison Agro Machinery Pvt. Ltd., a company located in Harare, Zimbabwe, and it also involved civil protection units from other parts of Zimbabwe. Major Nikita Baev, a lecturer from the Department of Special Training, and Sergeant Daniil Rakhimov, the driver of the training fire rescue unit's service group, were sent to Zimbabwe to train the specialists. During the training, the trainees learned how to create methodological recommendations for improving their professional knowledge and skills, as well as how to organize theoretical classes on emergency response. The training was conducted in cooperation with the Trade and Production Unitary Enterprise "VestBalt"
In total, since 2010, 241 representatives from 21 African countries have been trained at IRTcentre.
